Ledyard Police Collect 219 Pounds of Prescription Drugs
Thanks to a drop box in the lobby, residents are able to dispose of unneeded medications more often.

A year ago, the Ledyard Police Department had its prescription drug drop box installed in our lobby, to provide residents with a way to properly dispose of unneeded medications.
We have had just over 219 pounds of medication disposed of during the past year. That’s 219 pounds that might have otherwise remained in homes, or been disposed of in ways that cause contamination and/or dangerous situations.
