Ledyard Police Warn of Telephone Scams

In the scams, which all vary, callers attempt to obtain personal information or money from innocent citizens, police said.

The Ledyard Police Department, as well as all of our law enforcement partners, continue to receive calls regarding telephone scams. In the scams, which all vary, callers attempt to obtain personal information or money from innocent citizens.

Unfortunately we receive calls on a daily basis which shows that despite publicity, scams continue. We are hopeful that all residents continue to be vigilant and aware, and do their best to protect information and assets.
