The Ledyard Library Commission will be discussing the possible implementation of the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) filtering on all of the library’s computers and internet connections at their August 16, 2021 regular meeting. CIPA compliance is required for libraries to be eligible for federal funding that will assist with or cover the cost of internet related services and technology. Learn more about CIPA filtering by visiting this FCC website. The meeting agenda will be posted on the town portal prior to the meeting. The meeting is open to the public.
