Ledyard Residents With Grazing Animals Asked to Contact Emergency Management

Staff are going to reach out to those on the existing list to confirm their information as well.

Post from Ledyard News:

Grazing Animals - Part of Ledyard Emergency Management’s Millstone preparedness is to maintain a list of all grazing animals within a 50-mile radius of the station. The purpose of this list is to notify those with such animals if there is every a directive issued from the Governor’s office to place them on stored grain.

Since it has been several years since the list was developed, we are going to reach out to those on our existing list to confirm their information. We are also asking those that have such livestock to contact Emergency Management to facilitate their inclusion on the revised list.
