Ledyard Scouting For Food Pick-Up Set for Nov. 1

This weekend you may have received one of those bright yellow Scouting for Food bags! The bags were passed out this weekend and food will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 1, starting at 9:30 a.m.

All the food goes to our local food pantry. Residents can also donate grocery store gift cards in any amount for perishable and specialty foods. Cards can be dropped off to the Mayor’s office at Town Hall, 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway. More details about how you can help to follow.

Please note that not every street is covered by the Scouts. Some are too dangerous to stop.
