Tickets are now on sale for Ledyard Soccer Club’s Pancake Breakfast which will be held at the Applebees in Groton (350 Long Hill Road, Groton, CT) on Saturday, September 19th from 8-10 am. Each ticket is $5 and will be available to purchase during your practices this week and the beginning of next week. Please bring cash or check (made out to”Ledyard Soccer Club”) with you to practice. The Ledyard Soccer Club will have two primary fundraisers this Fall. The September 19th Pancake Breakfast and our Lasagna Dinner which will be held at the Gales Ferry Firehouse towards the end of October.
As is the case at many soccer clubs across the nation, Ledyard Soccer Club’s player registration fees do not cover the full cost of operating the club for the year. The remaining costs are covered by member and community support which helps offset the need for dramatic fee increases. The Club uses funds raised during these events to pay for equipment, field improvements, YES coaches, clinics and training and other expenses throughout the season.
