Ledyard Woman Who Hit EMT and Broke Cruiser Window Faces More Charges: Police

She was arrested recently on warrant stemming from that issue.

LEDYARD, CT- A local woman who made headlines for allegedly assaulting an EMT and a number of other charges was arrested Wednesday on a warrant that stemmed from those incidents, The Day reported.

Heather Kelly was charged by police with breach of peace and assault on emergency medical personnel, according to The Day. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 13.

Kelly had previously been charged with creating a public disturbance in June, when police decided she needed medical attention, according to The Day. A number of charges soon followed, including assaulting an EMT and breaking a police cruiser window before escaping from the hospital for 10 minutes.
