Lobster Madness Returns This Summer To Foxwoods

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Nothing says summer in New England like fresh locally-caught lobster, and Foxwoods Resort Casino is serving up a robust array of lobster entrées for this summer’s Lobster Madness celebration.

From July 1 through Sept. 2, as part of Pepsi Presents: Foxwoods’ Summer of Dreams, guests can eat their way around the resort enjoying New England’s favorite delicacy prepared in a variety of ways to fit anyone’s fancy.

Caputo Trattoria
Traditional Italian fare gets a modern twist at Caputo Trattoria, where guests can indulge in a three-course prix-fixe menu, which includes the choice of one mouthwatering appetizer, a lobster main course and one specialty dessert for $39 per person.

Cedars Steakhouse & Oyster Bar
For casual dining with a sophisticated atmosphere, Cedars Steakhouse & Oyster Bar will be offering lobster bisque with sherry and chives, a lobster salad sandwich on a traditional brioche roll or a hot lobster roll served on a brioche roll. For a more formal experience, Cedars’ Dining Room is serving a center cut filet mignon with cold water lobster and drawn butter as well as twin cold water lobster tails. Or, treat yourself to 2 ½ pound Maine lobsters available steamed, broiled, or stuffed with lump crab and drawn butter.

David Burke Prime
For meat lovers, David Burke Prime is offering a three-course prix-fixe menu including the choice of one appetizer, one succulent lobster main course and one delicious dessert for $39 per person.

Festival Buffet
Only available during Lobster Madness, guests can enjoy a 1 ¼ pound lobster for $18 with the purchase of a buffet.

Golden Dragon
Looking to add a bit of a twist to your lobster dish? Indulge in a wide selection of Asian cuisine-inspired offerings including lobster egg drop soup and a fresh 2 ½ pound Maine lobster prepared in a variety of ways, including: Cantonese-style lobster that has been battered and fried and topped with either ginger & scallion sauce or a rich black bean sauce; lobster fried rice featuring tender lobster meat stir-fried with eggs and diced peppers; and lobster E-Fu Egg Noodles tossed with tender lobster meat and snow peas in Golden Dragon’s signature oyster sauce.

At High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge, players can order smooth, rich Lobster Bisque for only $12.

Red Lantern
Traditional lobster rolls take a fresh spin at Red Lantern with the New England ‘Lobster Summer Roll.’ The sushi special features lobster salad, Bibb lettuce, avocado, cucumber and Japanese mayonnaise.

The Scorpion Bar
Foxwoods’ Mexican Cantina is the perfect spot to sample something new and exciting. Be sure to taste the Lobster Gazpacho, a scrumptious summer-style soup that provides the ideal way to cool off from the sun.

Veranda Café
The celebration continues at Veranda Café where the Mystic Lobster Frittata, an open-faced omelet with lobster, parmesan, Swiss cheese and chives, will be dished up to eager lobster fans. Additional menu options include a lobster cobb salad with Stonington lobster, a traditional hot lobster roll, and Veranda’s Signature Surf-N-Turf Burger with Angus beef patty, sautéed Stonington lobster, dill Havarti cheese and arugula. Turn things up a notch with Veranda’s special Steak & Lobster, featuring NY strip steak, succulent sautéed lobster meat, roasted fingerling potatoes and a seasonal vegetable selection, and an indulgent lobster mac-n-cheese crafted with sautéed lobster, elbow pasta and a velvety cheese sauce.
