Longtime Ledyard Mayoral Assistant to Retire this Year
He is one of the longest serving employees at Ledyard Town Hall.

LEDYARD, CT - A longtime mayoral assistant for the town of Ledyard will retire in March of this year, The Day reported.
Mark Bancroft announced Friday his plan to retire in a couple months, according to The Day. He has served as mayoral assistant for two decades under three different mayors.
Bancroft is one of the longest serving employees at Town Hall, as reported by The Day. As part of his job he is the director of administrative services for Town Hall and serves as the town's blight officer among others tasks.
