Man Allegedly Robs Henny Penny Gas Station

Police are still looking for the suspect who allegedly robbed the Route 12 station.

On 4-6-15, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Ledyard Police Department responded to a robbery call at the Henny Penny gas station on Route 12 in Gales Ferry.

It was reported that a male wearing a dark colored, sweatshirt, dark pants and work boots entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The man had his face covered with a knit mask and was wearing dark colored gloves with yellow trim.

He was reported to be approximately 5’7’’ to 5’11” tall. The man left the store on foot and may have left the area in a white, two-door car. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Ledyard Police Department at (860) 464-6400.
