Man Charged, Arrested After Accidentally Shooting Himself In Hand: Ledyard Police
Police said a man has been charged in a January incident in which the suspect accidentally shot himself in the hand.

LEDYARD, CT - Police said a man has been charged with reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm, the New London Day reported. Police said the incident occurred back in January, during which the suspect allegedly shot himself in the hand.
Police said Jordan L. Dotson, 26, of Bristol turned himself into Ledyard police Saturday in connection to an incident that occurred in the early morning of January 28, according to the New London Day. Police said the suspect was involved in the accidental of a firearm that occurred in a Flintlock Road parking lot. (To sign up for Ledyard breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said Dotson was found in the Fox Run Apartments building 4 parking lot with a single gunshot wound in his left hand, the New London Day reported. A warrant was issued for the suspect after a lengthy investigation, police said.
