A man was charged after reports that his dogs were chasing a woman and her children, according to police.
LEDYARD, CT — A man was charged after reports that his dogs were chasing a woman and her children, according to police. Police responded to 758 Colonel Ledyard Highway for a report of a disturbance.
The victim reported that Joshua Cruz's dogs were chasing her and her children as she attempted to drop her children off at daycare, according to police. The victim said this was an ongoing issue.
Police found that Cruz, 45, was also wanted on four warrants. He was charged with risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment, breach of peace, possession of vicious/barking dog, two counts of first-degree failure to appear, second-degree failure to appear, and failure to respond to an infraction.

He was held on a combined bond of $321,500 and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court last Thursday.
