Man Charged With Interfering With An Officer In Ledyard: Police
A Griswold man is accused of acting aggressively with police during a Tuesday incident.
LEDYARD, CT — Police have charged a man who resisted arrest and confronted officers in "an aggressive manner." Rashad Pauley, 29, of Griswold, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer.
Police stopped Pauley's vehicle Tuesday at 8:35 a.m. Police issued Pauley a summons for operating under suspension, speeding, and a brake light out.
Pauley was "defiant and verbally aggressive towards investigating officers," according to police.

Pauley then went to Floyd's Garage at 5 Fairway Drive to retrieve his vehicle and again began to yell at officers and refused to obey commands to leave.
Pauley then fled on foot while officers were attempting to place him into custody, according to police. Pauley then stopped running, came back and "again confronted officers in an aggressive manner."

Pauley was tased as he struggled with officers who were attempting to arrest him.
He was released on a promise to appear in court May 20.
