Man Charged In Ledyard DUI Crash From 2020: Police
A Rhode Island man was charged in connection to a DUI crash and held on $100,000 bond.
LEDYARD, CT — A man has been charged in connection with a 2020 accident, according to police.
State police Troop E contacted Ledyard police Monday stating that they were going to Seaport Auto in Mystic to make contact with Rodney Sherman, 42, of Hope Valley, RI.
Sherman had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Ledyard for his role in a Dec. 17, 2020 accident.

Troopers took Sherman into custody. He was transferred to the Ledyard Police Department.
Sherman was charged with DUI, traveling too fast for conditions, failure to register a commercial vehicle, operating without insurance, and operating under suspension.

He was held on $100,000 court set surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
