Man Charged With Sexual Assault At Casino: ​Mashantucket Police

MASHANTUCKET, CT - Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police said a New Hampshire man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in a casino hotel room last month, the New London Day reported. The alleged incident occurred in the suspect's room in the Fox Tower Hotel at Foxwoods Resort Casino, police said.

Police said Nicholas Soucy, 24, of Newton, N.H., was charged with pulling a woman into his hotel room after they both got off the elevator and sexually assaulting her, according to the New London Day. Police said the suspect was visibly intoxicated at the time of the incident.

The suspect was arraigned in court Tuesday on a charge of first-degree sexual assault, the New London Day reported. He will appear again in court on Dec. 15, court officials said.
