Man Charged With Striking Ledyard Police Officer
A man is facing charges that his car hit a Ledyard police officer in a June incident.
LEDYARD, CT — A man is facing charges that his car struck a police officer, according to police. Harish Narasegowda, of 600 Asylum Ave. #325, was charged with striking an officer with a motor vehicle and failure to move over for an officer.
The incident occurred June 12 when a Ledyard police officer was outside his cruiser conducting a motor vehicle stop at 4:11 a.m. on Route 2 in front of Foxwoods Casino.
Narasegowda was arrested Sept. 3 following an investigation with the assistance of the Mashantucket Tribal Police detective division.
