Man Chokes Woman In Front Of Baby: Ledyard PD

LEDYARD, CT - Police said a Ledyard man was recently charged with attempting to strangle a woman at a home where a baby was present, the Norwich Bulletin reported. The alleged victim told officers the suspect used both hands to choke her, according to police.

Police said Justin Burke, 31, of Ledyard was charged with strangulation and risk of injury to a minor, according to the Norwich Bulletin. The incident occurred Sunday at approximately 7 p.m., police said.
