Man Exposed Himself To Ledyard Officer: Police
A man is accused of walking up to a police cruiser in a dollar store parking lot and exposing himself, according to police.
LEDYARD, CT — A Ledyard man is facing charges that he exposed himself to a police officer. A police officer was conducting a motor vehicle stop Tuesday near the Dollar General at 1686 Route 12.
The officer completed the stop and pulled into a parking lot at 8:45 p.m.. While sitting in his patrol car, a man approached the officer yelling and with his middle finger raised.
The officer then got out of his car and tried to speak with the man. The man then put his hand down his pants. The officer ordered him to remove his hand and the man refused.

The man then pulled out his penis as he continued to yell at the officer. The man then resisted arrest.
He was identified as Edward Klarmann, 36. He was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering/resisting an officer.

Klarmann is due in New London Superior Court on Wednesday.
Klarmann is also facing charges in connection to a disturbance with another man at the nearby Henny Penny Convenience Store at 1673 Route 12. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon. Klarmann was charged with second-degree breach of peace in that case.
