New London Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Ledyard Car Stop
Myles S. Boyd, 21, of New London was charged with drug possession after getting pulled over for speeding by Ledyard police Tuesday night.

LEDYARD, CT—During a traffic stop for speeding, a 21-year-old New London man was arrested and charged with drug possession, Ledyard Police said.
During the late night stop, an officer "detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle."
The driver, Myles S. Boyd, of 281 Gardner Avenue, "admitted to police that he had marijuana in his vehicle and told police where it was located."

Police charged Boyd with: Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell; Possession of a Hallucinogen > 4 oz. of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was processed at the Ledyard Police Department and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court today.
