New Town Website to Debut Today

The Town of Ledyard is planning to go live later today with its new look and feel website (see image). It is designed for greater ease of use and will soon have additional home page links to other useful information, sites, and website-based services. 

The town website is a font of information about the town. It contains meeting schedules of all town boards, commissions and committees, along with most agendas and minutes from past meetings.

The website has links to the Board of Education, which in turn provides links to each individual school in town. It also links to the Senior Center, town libraries and Parks and Recreation Department, and includes schedules of current and upcoming programs.

It has links to emergency services, including fire, ambulance and police. The police link often features press releases, including requests for help from the public with ongoing investigations and news of major arrests.

There are schedules for curbside trash collection, bid results, town job openings, even fun or interesting things to do in town.
