No Storm-Related Injuries Reported in Ledyard
Road Closings Throughout Town, Multiple Homes Struck By Trees
At 1:15 p.m. Sunday Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein said there have been no storm-related injuries reported in Ledyard, but there were two homes with trees on them and multiple homes with trees against them.
Most of these homes were occupied at the time, he said, but still there were no injuries.
Finkelstein said there are closed roads across town. “There really is no part of town that is not affected,” he said.

At last count he said there were 34 sets of trees on downed wires. A record message at CL&P estimated that power could be out for up to a week.
Finkelstein said the downed wires included large power lines along Lantern Hill that service Foxwoods, but he had no information about power to the casino.
