Pets Disappear From Ledyard Family's Yard

In the evening hours of Tuesday, Oct. 6, a cat and small dog disappeared from a Ledyard family’s yard in the area of Lambtown, Haley Road and Colonel Ledyard Highway.

“Sadly, there was evidence left that suggests a wild animal was involved,” Ledyard Animal Control reported. “The BEST way to protect you pets is to keep cats inside (especially after dusk!) and stay outside with your dogs.”
