Poker Tournament at Foxwoods Will Support Special Olympics this September

LEDYARD, CT – The 10th Annual Susan Saint James Poker Tournament to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut will take place on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The event is hosted by Dick Ebersol. Poker players of all skills are encouraged to participate, according to a release.
All proceeds from the event will support local Special Olympics athletes in their year-round sports training and competitions. The tournament is limited to 120 players and the entry fee is $100, which includes $2,000 in chips and a post-event reception.

Over the past 10 years, the tournament has raised over $400,000 to directly support local Special Olympics Connecticut programs. Susan Saint James is a member of the Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors, most widely known as Kate McArdle in television show “Kate & Allie” and Sally McMillan in “McMillan & Wife.”
