
Police said Byron Jason, 22, of 12 Amos George Drive, Mashantucket, was observed shortly after midnight Saturday morning driving erratically on Route 32 north near Scotchcap Road in Waterford. After Jason failed a field sobriety test, police said, he was charged with failure to drive right and driving while intoxicated. His bond was set at $500. He is ordered to appear in New London Superior court on Oct. 29.
Police said Catherine A. Dyer, 48, of 5 Briarwood Court, Gales Ferry, was driving erratically on Route 12 near River Road early Saturday morning. Police stopped Dyer, who was driving south, and charged her with failure to drive right and driving while intoxicated. She also was charged with failure to carry proof of insurance. Her bond was set at $500. She is ordered to appear in New London Superior Court on Oct. 28.
On Oct. 15, Nicholas A. Woodworth, 21, of 34G Flintlock Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to a landlord's property after police responded to a report of an altercation at his residence. Police said the accused turned himself in at the Toop E State Police Baracks in Montville. Bond was set at $500. He is ordered to appear in New London Superior Count on Oct. 18.

On Oct. 15, police responded to a report of an altercation at a private residence on Lincoln Drive in Gales Ferry. They arrested a 17-year-old girl, charging her with disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $1,000. She was ordered to appear in New London Superior Court on Oct. 15.
