Ledyard Man Charged in June Incident

On Sept. 11, at 11:26 p.m., police went to Old Pequot Trail in Ledyard and arrested Talon P. Amado, 28, of 47 Coachman Pike Road, charging him with third-degree assault and breach of peace. Talon was arrested on a warrant issued in connection with an incident that occurred in June of 2011. He was released on a $15,000 bond and given a Sept. 26 court date.

On Sept. 9, as 1:10 a.m., Amanda L. Sierpinski, 24, or 882 Noank-Ledyard Road, Mystic, was observed traveling southbound on Route 117 at a high rate of speed. She was stopped and subsequently charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and speeding. Her bond was set at $500 and she was given a Sept. 20 court date.
