Police Also Make Arrest for Failure to Verify Address

On May 6, at 12:43 a.m., Helen Adger, 60, of Dorchester, MA, was stopped on Route 2 and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane. Her bond was set at $500, with a May 20 court date.
On May 4, at 4:16 p.m., Christopher Knablin, 27, of 8 Hillcrest Ave., Ledyard, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct. He was arrested on a warrant stemming from an incident on April 18. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was ordered to appear in court on May 5.
Also on May 4, at 5:48 p.m., Matthew Fanolis, 35, of North Glenwoods Drive, Gales Ferry, was charged with failure to verify his address. He was arrested on a warrant stemming from an incident on or about January 31. His bond was set at $25,000 and he was ordered to appear on May 5.

On May 2, at 4:53 p.m., Jamel Hayslett, 27, of 54 Boulder Drive, New London, was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana. Hayslett was stopped on Route 2, and police said a strong odor of marijuana came from his vehicle. His bond was set at $1,000 and he was given a May 16 court date.
