Police Blotter: Suspicious Vehicle Complaint
Man in Car With Child Charged With Possession of Marijuana

On March 18, at 7:22 p.m., Ledyard Police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Oak Ridge Drive in Gales Ferry. Police say they found Florencio Camacho, 46, of 856 Bank St., New London, and his child inside the running vehicle. Camacho was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000, with a March 31 court date.
On March 20, at 12:30 a.m., Paul Ferguson, 25, of 103 Heritage Blvd., Middletown, was stopped on Route 2 and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and failure to drive in the proper lane. Bond was set at $500 and he was given an April 4 court date in New London Superior Court.
