On April 2, at 1:51 a.m., police charged George Panciera, 56, of 16 Windward Lane, Ledyard, with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive right. Panciera was charged after a traffic stop on Route 2A in Preston. His bond was set at $500 and he was given an April 15 date at Norwich Superior Court.
On March 30, Reynoldo Mendez, 20, of 23, Roger Street, Hartford, was charged by Ledyard police with possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle by an underage person, driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to drive right and possession of marijuana. His bond was set as $500 and he was given an April 12 date at New London Superior Court.
