Police Identify Victim In Ledyard Shooting: Report
Police have identified the victim in a suspected shooting incident that took place last week.
LEDYARD, CT - Police have identified the victim in a suspected shooting incident that took place last week, the New London Day reported. Police said the man was hit by a bullet fired from another vehicle Tuesday.
Police said the victim has been identified as 29-year old Jerrod Steele, who was shot in the abdomen while driving with two passengers, according to the New London Day. The victim continued driving to a gas station in Preston while one of the passengers called 911. Police said emergency personnel met Steele at the gas station and transported him to the hospital, the New London Day reported. Police said Wednesday that Steele's vital signs were stable.
