In the past 2 days here in town we have had 3 cats hit by cars and 2 were fatal. We realize everyone can not keep their cats inside but please,please,please, if you live by a "busy" road try to keep them in. Fact is the driver of the car is not at fault if a cat or dog runs out in to the road and they are hit. It is the law if a dog is hit, the driver stop to report it; but the driver as long as they do that are not in any trouble. And the driver may sue for damages done to their vehicle. So lets all try to keep our family pets safe by keeping them contained to our property and for drivers to obey speed limit signs. The picture is of a missing cat not one that was hit.
