SCSU Professor Who Allegedly Had Sexual Relations with Ledyard High Student Removed from University

The professor taught for several weeks at the university before officials found he was facing sexual assault charges.

An adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University has been removed after the university learned he is facing sexual assault charges, WTNH News 8 reports.

William Friskey, 36, allegedly had sexual relations with an 18-year-old student while he was a teacher at Ledyard High School. When the student tried to end the relationship, Friskey allegedly threatened to harm himself.

According to the news channel, SCSU officials are unsure how Friskey was allowed to teach during the Fall semester.
