Senators Submit Bill Aimed Towards Funding $65 Million Ledyard School Construction Project
The bill comes months after funding for Ledyard's school construction projects were unexpectedly delayed.

LEDYARD, CT - A state senator has submitted a bill aimed at funding the recently delayed Ledyard school construction project, The Day reported.
Sen. Cathy Osten, Democrat-Sprague, introduced the bill, which would fund the state’s share of the $65 million renovation of Ledyard Middle School and Gallup Hill School, according to The Day. The funding would come separately from other school construction bonding.
The bill comes eight months after funding for Ledyard's school construction projects were unexpectedly delayed by a year, The Day reported. Officials are optimistic that the construction money will be approved.
