Shrine Announces 10 Year Anniversary Featuring Renowned Talent

MASHANTUCKET, CT — Big Night Entertainment Group and Shrine Nightclub are celebrating a decade at Foxwoods Resort Casino with an all-star lineup of today’s most sought-after DJ’s and headliners.

The month-long celebration, Shrine X, welcomes world-renowned talent this May, including Steve Aoki, R3HAB, Afrojack, Bingo Players, Riz, Scene, Loud Luxury, 2 Cents, Mustard, Ruckus, Clinton Sparks, Brooke Evers and Kirill.

According to a news release, Big Night Entertainment Group is celebrating Shrine Nightclub’s 10 Year Anniversary with a month-long celebration featuring an all-star lineup of world-renowned talent.

Shrine welcomes over a dozen artists to Foxwoods Resort Casino this May as part of the highly anticipated anniversary celebration, Shrine X, including Steve Aoki, R3HAB, Afrojack, Clinton Sparks and more.

Since opening doors at Foxwoods Resort Casino in 2008, Shine has been the hottest nightlife destination in the Northeast, welcoming top DJs from around the globe, A-list celebrity hosts, and a VIP experience that rivals the top clubs in Vegas, Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. The award-winning nightlife destination has been continuously named among the top 100 nightclubs in the US by Nightclub & Bar Magazine, earning a coveted spot in the top 35.

Tuesday, May 1: Bingo Players

Though they didn’t start out as DJs, once the demand grew for them to play out live, they learned how to mix on CDJs. Soon, they became regulars on the EDM circuit, playing massive festivals, like Electric Daily Carnival, Tomorrowland and Coachella, helping propel Bingo Players high into the DJ Mag Top 100 list last year.

Friday, May 4: Riz

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Riz has held residencies in some of the most iconic clubs in New York City (Homebase, Palladium, Limelight, Tunnel, Expo, and many others). Over the years he has played at countless venues across the United States as well as multiple countries overseas. Not to mention a bunch of celebrity gigs including Mike Tyson, Marcus Allen, Super Bowl & Pro Bowl, Heidi Klum just to name a few.

Saturday, May 5: Scene

Hailing from Las Vegas, DJ Scene is one of the most prolific touring DJs in the United States. He has several records released thru Fool’s Gold, Sup Girl, Audiophile and has performed alongside a long list of artists including Calvin Harris, Drake, Tiesto, DJ AM, Diplo, Nas, and countless others. Scene’s high energy, seamless transitions, and unique production have made him an international name and a crowd favorite everywhere he travels.

Tuesday, May 8: Loud Luxury

The duo was formed when Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace, who met at school, collaborated. They released an original single titled "Body" through Armin van Buuren's record label Armada Music. The song, which features vocalist Brando, debuted on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart at 49th, selling 1,000 downloads and gaining over 375,000 streams.

Friday, May 11: 2 cents

Musical duo DJ Craze and Four Color Zack come together to form 2 cents. Four Color Zack is most notably a Thre3Style champion and world class DJ with sets leaving no genre untouched. Regarded internationally as one of the best scratch DJ’s in the world, DJ Craze is a world touring, 3-time DMC World champ bringing his beats to Shrine on May 11.

Saturday, May 12: Mustard

Los Angeles native, DJ Mustard, is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after producers in the business. He has produced chart-topping hits for 2 Chainz ("I'm Different"), Young Jeezy ("R.I.P.") and Tyga ("Rack City"). Complex has also taken note, naming DJ Mustard one of their "25 New Producers To Watch Out For."

Tuesday, May 15: AFROJACK

Dutch DJ, record producer, and, remixer Afrojack received international success with his song “Take Over Control”, charting in 10 different countries and being recognized on DJ Mag’s “Top 100 DJ’s” numerous times. Most notably, Afrojack was featured on Pitbull’s hit song “Give Me Everything”, Beyoncé’s single “Run the World (Girls)”, and, his collab with David Guetta, “Hey Mama” featuring Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha.

Friday, May 18: Ruckus

Hailed by GQ as “the most sought-after DJ in the world,” DJ Ruckus has never moved slowly in establishing himself as the premiere open-format deejay. His clientele includes a legion of loyal celebrity fans including his cousin Lenny Kravitz, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Kanye West, Russell Simmons, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, Kanye West, and Leonardo DiCaprio, all of whom hire Ruckus to spin at their private parties. His high-energy sound has also lead him to play for the industry leaders in the media, film, sports, and, a fixture at high-profile events for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Prada, and, Alexander Wang.

EDM artist R3HAB has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the scene, including Hardwell and Afrojack. He has been commissioned to remix artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Katy Perry, and more. R3HAB garnered prestigious slots at Coachella Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Future Music, Creamfields and Summer burst.

Wednesday, May 23: Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki is an American electro house musician, record producer, DJ, and music executive. He has collaborated with producers and vocalists such as will.i.am, Afrojack, LMFAO, Linkin Park, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, just to name a few. Aoki has released several Billboard-charting studio albums as well, notably Wonderland, which was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013.

Friday, May 25: Clinton Sparks

Clinton Sparks is a Grammy-nominated American DJ, producer, and songwriter who has worked with Hollywood A-listers like Lady Gaga, Akon, Ludacris, Rick Ross, Tyrese Gibson, and T-Pain.

Saturday, May 26: Brooke Evers

Brooke Evers is an Australian television personality, model and DJ. In 2010, Brooke started to learn how to DJ while working in the club scene. As a professional dancer she has worked alongside artists like Bob Sinclar and Boy George, and has stated she developed an understanding of popular music and reading the crowd. Her music style is a combination of commercial pop and RnB with electro house.

Tuesday, May 29: Kirill | Pizza + Pajama Party

Described by MTV as "the most prominent nightlife photographer in America," Kirill Was Here has fast become as recognizable as the celebrities that he shoots. Voted Paper Magazine's 2011 Nightlife Photographer of the Year, Kirill is called upon by music heavyweights LMFAO, Travie McCoy, Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, A-Trak, and Chromeo to shoot their concerts and private events.
