Now that spring is here, Crystal Mall is ready to celebrate with a special event, Kidgits Spring Extravaganza, taking place on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During the event, children will enjoy a morning that includes spring-themed crafts and activities such as creating sand art necklaces and making their own dove of peace from craft sticks, paper, fun googly eyes and a fuzzy craft ball. There will also be a butterfly and baby birds nest activity, a carnival bean bag toss, refreshments and goody bags for the first 50 Simon Kidgits Club members. In addition, Gymboree and JCPenney Portrait Studio will be among the festivities as well.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to welcome spring than to host a fun event to celebrate with our Kidgits Club members,” said Debbie Botelho, director of marketing and business development for Crystal Mall. “We are excited to welcome families to Crystal Mall and enjoy a morning of springtime-themed activities that will certainly add to the joy this season brings.”

Kidgits Spring Extravaganza is free to attend for members of the Simon Kidgits Club, a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 3-8. Since 2003, the Simon Kidgits Club has kept children and parents alike amused with various events and activities while providing incentives for club members, such as special offers, rewards and games.
Annual membership is $5 and provides access to monthly events and scheduled activities at Crystal Mall. Kidgits Club members receive a variety of goodies, including a Kidgits Club T-shirt, membership card, birthday card and gift and discounts.
