Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. Inc. is reaching out to our community to make the holidays a little brighter for the pets of Ledyard and Gales Ferry. We are happy to be joining forces with the Town of Ledyard Social Services and for the first time offering a little something for the pets in the Holiday baskets they hand out at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To make this a success, will be having a collection drive asking you to come STUFF OUR PUMPKINS with dog and cat food, treats, toys, and pet store gift cards. We will also be collecting for the Food Locker and they have expressed a need for canned fruits, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, boxed cereals, baking goods, snack foods, and foods suitable for a Holiday meal. Cash donations also accepted.
Get your employees together in your workplace or your students in your classroom and bring all the goodies you collect to one of our collection location on October 26th! If you need a donation box made for you just let me know and I will bring you one! I can also supply you with a donation jar if you’d like to collect cash donations.
