Five people were injured – none seriously – when a car struck a utility pole Thursday evening on Town Farm Road. The injured were transported to the hospital, but Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein said none of the injuries are serious. The crash closed the roadway for an extended period while CL&P worked to replace the pole.
