Whiskers In Wonderland
Family event hosted by Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. to raise funds for Autumn's Fund, a medical fund for the pets at the Ledyard Animal Control.
It is that wonderful time of the year when we host the Ledyard Animal Control’s Whisker’s In Wonderland event. This is a fun family event that also includes the pets. Santa will be there for photos with the pets, kids, and family members. There will be lots of vendors and raffle baskets so come support our local business owners and craftsmen.
The Ledyard Animal Control Wish Tree will be up that will have special wishes from the Ledyard Animal Control for the shelter or pets. Just pick a tag and bring your gift to the shelter at a later time or ask C.H.A.I.N. to pick it up and deliver it for you.
Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. will have its Santa Run For the Pets table where children can write letters to Santa for their pets. The letters will get delivered to the North Pole where Santa and the C.H.A.I.N. elves will work hard to fulfill every wish. The pet gifts will be delivered personally to the children and their pets before December 25th.
Businesses that wish to donate a raffle basket or gift certificate please get in touch with me and I will be happy to come by and pick it up. We will also need some volunteers to help with the event so if you are able to donate some of your time and energy we can use you!
All money raised from the raffle baskets and the Santa photos will go to the Ledyard Animal Control’s Autumn Fund which covers the medical needs for the shelter pets.
