Woman Accused of Taking Money from Fund for Family of 4-Year Old Ledyard Drowning Victim
Police said the page had received thousands of dollars in donations.

LEDYARD, CT - Police said a woman took money from a fund set up for a 4-year old Ledyard drowning victim, Fox 61 reported.
Bonni Ojeda, 34, is charged with taking money from a GoFundMe account she set up to help the family of a child who drowned in August, according to Fox 61. She was charged Tuesday with five counts of larceny.
Police said the page had received thousands of dollars in donations, Fox 61 reported. Ojeda allegedly removed several thousands of dollars from the account, presumably for personal use.
