Woman Charged with Damaging Parked Car with Baseball Bat in Ledyard

LEDYARD, CT - Ledyard police said they recently arrested a woman on a valid arrest warrant held by the department. She is charged with damaging a car with a bat.

Police said Kiona Carter, 19, was observed damaging a parked car with a baseball bat at a Shewville Road address. She is charged with criminal mischief and breach of peace. (To sign up for Ledyard breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

She was arrested Monday and released on $2500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court May 4.
