Woman Charged With Stealing Firearm At Foxwoods: Report

LEDYARD, CT — Police said a Massachusetts woman has been charged with stealing a firearm from the jacket pocket of a Foxwoods Resort Casino patron, the New London Day reported. She was subsequently arrested hours later after she was found at a nearby Burger King with the missing gun in her car, police said.

Police said Marisol R. Feliciano, 47, of Springfield, Mass., is charged with taking a Ruger LCP .380-caliber pistol from a patron's jacket after he left it in the Bingo Hall of the casino, according to the New London Day. The man told officers he realized he had forgotten his jacket in the hall 45 minutes after leaving the area.

Police said surveillance footage showed Feliciano rummaging through the jacket while it was unattended, according to the New London Day. When an officer later located the suspect's car and approached her, she allegedly told the officer the firearm was under her seat, police said.
