Woman Arrested After Hitting Stone Wall In Ledyard: PD
Police said a woman was arrested on driving while intoxicated charges after striking a stone wall in Ledyard.

LEDYARD, CT – Police said a Ledyard woman was arrested late Friday night on driving while intoxicated charges after striking a stone wall. According to a news release, officers were dispatched at approximately 11:30 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident on Gallup Hill Road at the intersection of Flintlock Road.
Police said an investigation revealed the vehicle had traveled off the road and struck a stone wall as the driver, Ashley J. Grimshaw, 31, of Ledyard, attempted to turn onto Flintlock Road.
According to police, the accused was uninjured but was discovered to be intoxicated. She was arrested without incident and transported to the Ledyard Police Department.
