MADISON, CT — A Madison resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket this week that was purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, an unnamed resident claimed a winning CASH5 ticket that was bought at Henny Penny on Boston Post Road.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager, has a top prize of $100,000.

To win the top prize, a player must match all five winning numbers; the odds of doing so are 1 in 324,632.
