You could collect postcards until you're buried in them. There are still so many out there, thanks to the heavy card stock used to print them.
A snapshot in time, covered with a personal picture, cartoon, famous scenic site, or advertisement, they are still fun to examine.
Take Tilton's trolley in the card above for example. This was a card found in Connecticut and possibly sent by a friend or a relative to share some news and views from the West coast.
The funny part is, it was never used as a card, yet still managed to travel across the country. Take a look at the images.
Is there still a trolley ride to the San Gabriel Mission to see the bells? What about Cawston Ostrich Farm? I am hoping readers can fill me on on the age of this card and if anyone remembers this trolley run.
