12th State Senate District Debate

The candidates vying to replace retiring State Senator Ed Meyer will debate on Oct. 30.

The two candidates on the Nov. 4 ballot for the 12th State Senate seat are Bruce J. Wilson, Jr. (R) of Madison and Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D) of Branford. They will meet to debate topics of general interest on Thursday, Oct. 30, 7:30 p.m.

This nonpartisan event, co-sponsored by AARP CT and the League of Women Voters of East Shore, will take place in the Community Room of Branford’s Fire HQ, North Main St.

The public is urged to attend this last major appearance of the two candidates together. Appropriate topics or questions for advance consideration may be submitted to “eastshoreleague@yahoo.com”.
