Q #19: “What if I’m already retired or am ready to retire now?”People who are retired still need to carefully watch their income and expenses. The work doesn’t end when you retire. If you’re retired or are about to retire, you hopefully have a retirement plan. Stick to your plan. Check your finances at least monthly to make sure your money is doing what you’ve planned. If something changes, like a major unexpected expense or a loss of substantial income, have a backup plan. Some retirees have a side fund they can access in emergencies.
