2 Madison Schools Have School Year Extended
This week's storm caused more changes to the school calendar for these two Madison schools.

MADISON, CT — Two Madison schools will have the school year go a little bit longer due to the recent storm. In a letter to parents, Thomas Scarice, Superintendent of Schools, wrote, "Based on the recent school closure due to the storm and power outage, it is necessary to make an adjustment to the final day of school at Brown Middle School and Ryerson Elementary School.
The school district is mandated by the State of Connecticut that school be in session a minimum of 180 days. As a result, the last day of school for both Brown Middle School and Ryerson Elementary school will be Tuesday, June 26th. This will be an early dismissal day. If you have any questions, please feel free to call my office."
