$25,000 Win For Madison Resident With Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold in Guilford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

MADISON, CT — A Madison resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Guilford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, Vincent R. claimed a winning Cashword 30 ticket he bought at Xpress Fuel on Boston Post Road.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in November 2022, and as of Thursday, three grand prizes of $25,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 11.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.49.
