4 Madison School Buses Hit by a BB Gun, 2 Students Receive Minor Injuries

The buses were headed home Friday afternoon from Daniel Hand High School. BREAKING

MADISON, CT — Madison Superintendent of Schools Thomas Scarice confirmed that four buses leaving Daniel Hand High School were struck by what appears to be a projectile from a BB gun after leaving school grounds Friday afternoon.

One window on one bus was damaged and a minor injuries occurred to two students as a result, Scarice said.

Medical attention was not required and the students were transported home on another bus, the schools chief said.

The matter has been handed over to the Madison Police Department and transportation will continue uninterrupted, Scarice said.
