MADISON, CT — An unnamed Clinton resident is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket that was purchased Madison, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning Best Chance To Be A Millionaire ticket that was bought at the Cumberland Farms at 633 Boston Post Road.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The scratch-off game, which costs $50 per ticket, began in January, and as of Friday, four grand prizes of $1 million remained unclaimed.
More than 2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.13.
