Madison native Kaleb Cohen is scheduled to headline the festival with a 90-minute sunset performance closing the main stage program. Cohen, a singer-songwriter who has toured nationally and released new music in recent years, will perform until the festival’s conclusion at 7 p.m.

The Jamie McLean Band also is scheduled to perform. The group is led by guitarist Jamie McLean, a former member of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and performs a mix of soul, rock and blues music.

Local performers scheduled throughout the afternoon include Alanna McDowall, who will perform the national anthem during opening ceremonies; the Scranton Strummers ukulele ensemble; the School of Rock House Band; RePlay; and the North Madison Congregational Church Drumming Circle.

The drumming circle is scheduled to begin on the beach at 7 p.m. as the strawberry moon rises over Long Island Sound.

"Music is at the heart of any great celebration, and we couldn't be more excited to have a true Madison native like Kaleb coming home to headline our 200th anniversary," Ryan Duques, treasurer of the Madison Bicentennial Committee, said in a statement. "From our incredible local groups to our national touring acts, this is a lineup built to bring the whole town together."

Parking at the Madison Surf Club will be available to attendees with a beach pass or proof of residency, organizers said. Free shuttle transportation from downtown public parking lots also will be available for other attendees.

Additional information about shuttle schedules, food trucks and festival activities is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
